
Mrs Nomandla Mazibuko is one of our longest standing staff members. Nomandla currently runs our play centre called Sithandeni Play Centre at Prince Mshiyeni Hospital P1 ward. Nomandla is married for 28 years, she has two children, a 28 year old son and a 16 year old daughter. Nomandla has been with Umduduzi – Hospice Care for Children way before it was called Umduduzi. It was formally knowns as the Bigshoes Foundation. She has worked with Julia and Tracey from 2012. Nomandla is a hard worker, with excellent people skills, she loves working with children and their families. She provides play opportunities while teaching children to read, write and count. They spend their time singing and dancing when they not playing soccer outside. What Nomandla loves most about working for Umduduzi – Hospice Care for Children is the spirit of unity, kindness and family. Nomandla loves the play centre she works at, she says its perfect for the children to experience support and love while admitted in hospital.
